"Never Let You Go" is a song by the American rock band Third Eye Blind originally released on their 1999 album Blue.
Released as a single, the song peaked at #14 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts on April 1, 2000.[1]
Two years after release, it was on the soundtrack to Clockstoppers which to a degree renewed its popularity among a new audience.
Meaning[]
Jenkins comments in the pages of A Collection, the band's first hits compilation that it was written about a muse of his at the time, and it was written to 'freak her out' when she heard it on the radio.
